Match report An extremely tough game today.

Having to field only 9 players was always going to make the game difficult.

We won the toss and decided to field first, we bowled well but with only 9 on the pitch there were plenty of gaps for the opposition batsmen to exploit. With a great bowling spell from Joel Barrett taking 4 for 13 in his first match for the A team we could only limit Rowledge to 106 for 6 after 20 over's.

With some talented batsmen on a pretty quick outfield it was possible but going to be tough to chase down the 106. Rowledge with some excellent bowling dismissed some key batsmen early leaving a great deal for the lower order to do. Rowledge kept the pressure on throughout gradually dismissing all the batsmen for on 53 runs.

It was a great effort from all the boys. Well done
