CRICKET ACTIVITY DAYS

FOR U7s, U9s & Girls

2 & 3, 9 & 10 AUGUST 2016 

Dear Parents,

 We would like to offer your son/daughter the opportunity to participate in a cricket based activity camp at Yateley CC.  This will run from 9.30am – 3.30pm on all 4 days.  Drop off and registration will commence from 9am.

There will be coaching and cricket matches throughout the morning from Yateley CC coaches. It is also our intention to offer other sports (as well as cricket) in the afternoon subject to the wishes of the children. These will include football, baseball and badminton. It is most important that the children thoroughly enjoy their time with us and therefore we will respond to requests whenever feasible.

A soft ball will be used in all sessions, so protective equipment will not be required. All necessary kit will be provided, however your son/daughter may bring their own bats etc. The clubhouse will be open throughout the day with regular drinks breaks. The children should bring a packed lunch and snacks/drinks as required. It is likely that we will have a small tuck shop selling sweets & drinks. Therefore, the children can bring a small amount of money with parental discretion.

In the event of a forecast of extremely bad weather, a decision will be taken by 5pm on whether the camp will run the next day. This will hopefully allow parents the chance to make alternative arrangements. Should this occur a full refund will be given.

If you wish to secure a place for your son/daughter, please complete the booking & medical forms and return them to a YCC coach or post to me (address below) with a cheque for the appropriate amount as soon as possible. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Having sent in the forms, you may consider your son/daughter enrolled. I will send an acknowledgement to you by email.

Finally, this is a new and exciting initiative that I hope all young members of YCC will want to get involved in and thoroughly enjoy. However, I understand with two young children of my own how quickly their interests can change. Therefore, should you decide to book the full four days and your child doesn’t wish to attend the second week, we will provide the £30 refund if notified by Friday 5^th August.
