Clubmark accreditation was achieved in April 2010 after a meeting with the Hampshire Cricket Development Officer. This was a major exercise undertaken by a very committed group of members. Accreditation recognises that the club has met or exceeded stringent standards with respects to:
- child protection
- sports ethics and equity
- club management
- effective and professional training and playing programme
In addition the accreditation recognises that we have in place a highly professional 'Club Development Plan'. This will ensure the continued development of the club in terms of junior and senior playing standards, facilities improvements, links with the local community etc.
