Match report Yateley entered this match needing to discover the winning formula, and despite a solid 33 from M Handcock, at 87 for 5 in the 26th over I found myself thinking here we go again. Then much to my delight the middle order fired and contributions from S Kennet (26), Y Hussain (17), C Micklethwaite (28*), J Henstock (54) saw Yateley to a respectible 203 for 9

Finding myself in the unusual position of having runs to play with I sought the advise of the ever young Colin Justice. We opened with Myself & Izzy and although our spells weren't quite upto expectations we managed to up the required run-rate to nearly 5. We then turned to the heroes of the hour (Not forgetting err.. Jim's magnificent batting!!) M Handcock (3-31) & C Micklethwaite (5-36) who turned the game yateley's way with some fine bowling. With young Sam Kennett moping up the tail (1-6).

Yateley finally secured their 1st league win bowling out Basingstoke for 129 (2nd one to follow next week guys ;-))

Before I sign-off one final acknowledgement to make, for the low slip catch made by a certain MR Justice of Chloe's bowling (but don't worry we'll only mention it when JM snr's around!!)
