Match report An unusual YCC U17 team travelled to Fleet for their only morning game of the season. Hampered by parties, county matches, district matches and the U15 match on Monday, The UI17 team ended up with two U15, one U13 and an U11 to ensure t6hat we had a full strength team.

Playing under blue sky's (for a change) and a firm outfield, the U17 were put into the field by Fleet. Only one Fleet batsman scored significant runs against the U17 bowling attack allowing captain Chris to allow some guests to bowl. In all Fleet managed a 103 runs in their innings, significantly more than they have scored in previous years.

Batting should have been straight forward, but Fleet took early wickets, before Ryan and Charlie got into the grove and finished the match in 13.3 overs, both scoring 39.

In all the U17 made harder work of a match than should have been the case, but Fleet have improved over last years team who capitulated for an embarrassing 50.
