Match report Huge boundary, very damp pitch, however unsure why this meant the girls had lost their tongues. From raucous on Friday to mouse like on Saturday. Bizarre. Very little calling from the girls meant we were lucky to get to 285, but some strong batting from the more senior girls meant we were in with a chance against a Basingstoke side we were fortunate to beat in our last encounter.

Sooooo........we went in to field and bowled well in windy conditions. Our backing up was pretty non existent though, giving the watching adults a pretty hairy time as the ball went from one side of the pitch to the other (sometimes several times!) with the Basingstoke girls racking up the runs.

Still alls well that ends well and the girls did enough to continue their unbeaten run going into their final match tomorrow.
