Match report Despite chasing another modest total the Yateley batsmen lost wickets at regular intervals during their innings and finished drawing a game they really should have won.

Several batsmen got starts and failed to continue the innings through. Shafi (23), Petts (20) and Rawat (31) were the main batsmen to contribute but failed to stay in when it mattered. The middle order then struggled which left it to Gerhard Pienaar, who scored 45, to give the total some respectability.
Had Pienaar not been given out LBW with six overs remaining Yateley may well have won this game.

Earlier in the day Yateley won the toss and elected to field on a green looking wicket. The ball, however, did not do much and the Hillingdon batsmen looked quite comfortable without looking threatening. Harry Barlett bowled particularly well early on without much success but eventually returned figures of 3 for 34. Stuart Lipo bowled a very good second spell finishing with figures of 4 for 58. Despite some lower order hitting Yateley did well to restrict the score to 200 taking the final wicket on the last ball of the 52nd over.

On a decent wicket Yateley never really got to grips with the run chase and ended on 173 for 9 with Anthony Muir and Harry Barlett batting out the last six overs comfortably.
