Match report School Report
Yateley Yorkers
Summer Term - 18 July 2010

Subject.........Grade.....Effort.............Remarks

Banter............B.........C................Usually a subject in which the
.............................................Yorkers excel. However with the
.............................................skipper having the hump for the
.............................................first 15 overs, the banter was
.............................................not up to scratch and it took a
.............................................while for the team to focus.

Fielding..........C.........D................Early nights are imperative prior
.............................................to important matches, hopefully
.............................................preventing the need for the younger
.............................................members of the team to lie down
.............................................during the innings.

Catching..........B.........B................Some good takes today,but a couple
.............................................of missed opportunities. Had they
.............................................been taken the score would have
.............................................been very different.

Diving............U.........U................Very poor. Where's the
.............................................commitment ladies?! Blood & cuts
.............................................all part of the game - even if you
.............................................dive & miss it's still shows
.............................................dedication :-) Those whites need to
.............................................green!

Bowling...........B.........B................Good try. Need to cut down on
.............................................those extras though.

Batting...........E.........D................*&@*£ !!!!!!

Teas..............A.........B................Super tea, slightly let down by
.............................................the teams inability to finish it.
.............................................Very pleased with the sweet
.............................................consumption though.

Friendliness......A*........A*...............Aren't we always the best??!!!

Fun...............A.........A................Just a little below par, but as
.............................................ever team spirit was off the
.............................................radar. :-)

Captain's comments:

Could do better. More application needed with fielding & the bat, however the enthusiasm of the team makes them a pleasure to be with. With a more conscientious attitude towards outdoor practice, I am confident the Yorkers will go from strength to strength next season.
