Yateley Cricket Club Lost an absolute thriller by 1 wicket

Match report Wow what a match. No one deserved to lose this one with all three results possible in the final over. In front of a record crowd for an U13 game the girls showed just how good they are at bowling by nearly pulling of a win when we really didn't have enough runs.
Many highlights Lexi's great catch being my favourite but everyone bowled really well in a very tense finish giving away hardly any extras and putting real pressure on the Basingstoke batsmen. Too be fair the last man standing for them did a really good job of withstanding our best to just see them home. If we'd have won it would have been an incredible win so to get so close was still a great performance and definitely the best game of the season so far even in defeat. Well played girls.
