Match report So Jim stepped in as late replacement coach with the pressure of keeping up the unbeaten run. From the moment Skipper George won the toss I knew it would be business as usual. Harry and George got us off to a great start with 54 for 0 off 4 overs. Then in came Ted and debutant Aryan and despite some hesitant running between the wickets they get the score moving along to 81 for 0 after 8. Finally came the two Olivers, unfortunately Oliver Keetch was bowled by a good delivery for 6, but Oliver Uttley smashed a lovely 6 to keep things ticking along to an excellent final total of 137 for 1.
we Knew with a total like that we just had to bowl normally to win. in the second over Aryan took his first wicket for Yateley and thanks to tight bowling from Oliver K and Ted, Fleet were 17 for 1 after 4. more tight bowling followed and the usual wicket keeper switch before Oliver U took the second wicket and after 8 overs Fleet were 39 for 2. Another wicket for Aryan followed and the wicket keepers combined to finish things of with Harry taking a catch from Georges bowling. Fleet finishing on 54 for 4.
the boys were great tonight and we finished with a round of Happy Birthday for Harry. 6 wins in 6, cant beat that.
