Match report In bright sunshine and the ground looking a treat (compared with 3 weeks ago) Yateley won the toss and with a much strengthened batting line up had no hesitation to bat first.
The portents weren't good when Elgan mistimed a drive to mid on and runs seemed to be hard to find. Will Forster, Joe McGowan and Joe Lockwood all got in, then lost their wickets. Aziz came to the crease an signalled his intent with
a delicate paddle to fine leg and then with Anthony McGown "hustling" at the other end the pair put on 84 at almost a run a ball. Ant and John Murphy then fell bringing in Robbie Barrett who upped the tempo of running with Aziz until he departed on 89 - Robbie marshalled the tail to take the
total to a respectable 226 which given the slow outfield was a good total to defend.
Joe McGowan and George Murphy opened tidily and Tom Brooks and John Murphy gave good support first change. The game was then put to bed with Robbie Barrett bowling wicket to wicket and taking 3-17, Anthony McGowan tied up the other end and has success with the help of two great catches from Aziz. George Murphy then came back on and the tail was quickly mopped up to seal a comfortable victory.

Well done to everybody - special note was Tom Brooks running out the non-striker (I hope it was deliberate Tom :-) )
