Match report We finally got the under 11 season off and running on a damp morning in Aldershot, with Imogen making her Debut. Niamh stepped up to captain the team, won the toss and decided to field. a solid bowling performance with all players bowling well and unlucky not to get more wickets, special mention to Christa for an excellent catch and Anna for a good run-out and some tight bowling. Niamh was very vocal in the field constantly encouraging the girls and picked up a wicket too. Aldershot ended up with 279 and we were confident that we could chase the target down.

Hannah H and Niamh got the team off to a solid start with 16 of the first 4 overs, Hannah J and Imogen were then restricted by some good bowling. Enter Anna and Christa, with Christa hitting 4 boundaries during and excellent innings of 19. Jess and Aryana came in needed a miracle and tried hard but despite a partnership of 28 we could only get up to 255. The loss of wickets by Yateley was the difference between 2 quite evenly matched teams.
