Match report Won the toss - batted!
I took the view it was a 60 for 0 off 21 pitch.
Our "new" no.4 took another view and with a sublime display of ball-striking (some of those straight lofted drives, Chris .....!!), saw the scoreboard accelerate exponentially!!
To the point that Chris and Ollie added 80 for the 5th wkt in just 8 overs. Ollie and Joel then kept the momentum flowing and eventually saw us through to a once-unlikely 200!!
The bowling and fielding display was then as sharp as it has been all season with Robin and Owen setting the tone, and both combining for the 1st wkt in the 1st over. Anthony and Joel then continued the fine work with some accurate support bowling. And then Ryan did what he seems to be able to do better than anyone - mop up!! (so if you ever need a cleaner ....!!!)
The catching was good too with Simon leading the way with 2 (should he have had 3? - was that a chance? :-)
