Yateley Cricket Club Lost by 5 wickets

Match report Yateley lost the toss and were asked to bat first. Three early wickets put us on the back foot but fortunately our lower order stepped up and managed to build a respectable total. Special mention must be made of Shannon Clarkes knock of 16 (including 3 solid fours) and both Megan Stentiford 12 NO and Rosalyn Chambers 12.0. The girls focussed on seeing out their 20 overs and benefited from the poor balls they received.

Following drinks we struck early with two wickets to Sasha Neilson. Bowling on the whole was improved on last weeks with fewer wide's bowled but this clearly still requires some focus. Eve Long came on and picked up the last of the three wickets Yateley took.

Unfortunately a loss in a tightly contested game but with small improvements we could have been on top, with lots of positives to take into the next game.
