Match report On a Glorious evening a much changed Yateley U11's took on Cove. With 4 U9s and 2 of the U11's playing their first match we went into bat.
Some positive batting saw plenty of quick singles, with a few big hits in between. Special mention to Lucy who hit 2 boundaries in a row, one a few inches short of a 6.
Yateley only lost 3 wickets and they were due to 2 run outs and an excellent catch. A confident batting display saw us finish with a total of 303.

Yateley then took to the field. New girls Christa and Hannah John bowled well in their first match with Christa taking a wicket and Hannah bowling one of her 2 overs conceding just 2 runs.
It was good to see Anna back from injury and she also took a wicket. The pick of the bowlers was Aryana, taking 2 wickets and coping brilliantly with bowling the crucial last over.
We were always in the game thanks to good bowling from everyone but unfortunately Cove finished ahead on 310.

Really pleased with the performance from the girls.
