Yateley Cricket Club Lost by 77 runs

Match report Lost the toss - meant another long hot day, this time in front of Her Majesty (was she in?)
Unfortunately we failed to make regular breakthroughs as one Windsor batsmen after another managed to get full value from the fast outfield. The highlight for us - John "Magician" McGowan breaking yet another partnership, this time with a brilliant caught and bowled. 248 for 6 though - a tall order.
In an effort to chase, Ryan and Jim were sent in to open. Ryan skied one early for 11 so it was left to Jim to give us the early impetus - and boy, did he try with yet another 50, including a beautiful straight 6 over long on! But wickets started to fall and we started to falter and, despite Upkar's defiant 37, we came up short. A great effort in testing conditions nevertheless.
Biggest tactical mistake today? - losing the toss! I must work on that!
