Match report It took a trip to the Abbey for Yateley to get back into the winning Habit.
On a Muggy day, 11 men and 2 jumpers took the field with a spring in their step and it wasn't long before Andre has clean bowled the opener and YCC didn't look back. the skipper then turned to Veteran Scott Gore who rolled back the years and literally got amongst the wickets, At the drinks interval T&T were at 39 for 6 after Cameron Hume also decided to take a couple of wickets. After the drinks break Yateley finished the job thanks to 2 wickets from Owen Evans and a sublime run out from the bullet arm of Jim Henstock. Andy finally bowled a straight one and T&T being all out for 71!

The tea interval saw a fantastic amount of pastry products and not one sandwich, quite unusual. Harry Maxfield took off his jumper but was not impressed with the Pork Pies. Some excellent admin was completed whilst enjoying 3 types of quiche.

so to the challenging run chase, the ever dependable John Howells gave his supporters what the had come to see with some lovely batting. it was a day to forget for Harry and Jim who didn't use up much of the scorers ink, Scott and Noel had brief cameos and it was down to Connor and John to stand there and let the opposition bowl the wides that won us the game by 6 wickets.
