Match report Friendlies can be tricky...by the time you alter the rules and make it all up no one really knows what you're doing. Still, the Ladies posted 155 in 35 overs, having also lent fielders on a rolling basis, then bowled out the oppo for 125 in 29 overs. Play then continued to enable everyone to have a bowl/bat. This proved to be an excellent idea as Rachel Salter took her first Senior wicket with her first ball. Wicket maiden. U13 Nayani Davies-Patel had a super debut too with the ball and in the field with a little cameo batting partnership with her mum. An assured 32 from Caty Salter in a solid partnership with Alanna helped to put Yateley in a strong position. Good attitude and positivity from all despite the surprise of playing in heat..in May. Where was the normal wind and drizzle?

Our homework is to develop a bank of new phrases on the pitch so Rachel Mc doesn't trot out the same old well-worn things every week..
