Match report A soggy finish to a super U14 season for the girls. Rain stopped play at the end of the 10th over, second innings, meaning average rate awarded the match to Alton. Some great moments - Shannon yet again proving untroubled by Alton's bowling while quick team work in the field with Nayani and Caty guaranteed a rapid run out. Eve bagged herself a caught behind too. A tough game for captain Sure in her last Girls match at YCC v a very strong team but she brought her usual thought and attention to detail to the match and led her team well.

The girls said good bye to Sure in the best way they know how (with food!) but we will see Sure again at Ladies matches and have a chance to say"Au revoir" (not good bye) before she heads off on her next cricket adventure.
