Match report After losing the toss, we were asked to bat first. We looked to be in trouble early on, when Josie was Caught & Bowled in the 1st over. Sasha Neilson joined Megan Hughes at the wicket and both girls steadied our innings. We amassed a total of 95 runs in our allotted 18 overs thanks to some brilliant running between the wickets, with all the girls looking to keep the scoreboard ticking.

Unfortunately our bowling let us down on this occasion with too many over pitched deliveries which were easily played by our opposition. We were also very generous with the number of wides given. Our score was unfortunately chased down in the middle of the 12th over.

Player of the match for Yateley was our Captain Sasha who batted very steadily, took control of the innings and led by example.
