Yateley Cricket Club Won by 6 Wickets

Match report Sure won the toss and elected to Bat first. Our batting went very well with Retirements for Caty, Megan and Sasha and Not Outs for Nayani and Rosalyn. The Running between wickets and calling went very well and we built a respectable 124 for 3.

Rowledge clearly had a strong batting line up but our bowlers quickly got stuck into the Top order with some super catches from Amelia, Sasha and Josie. The girls had clearly worked on their line as the number of wides given away was remarkably improved. Rowledge put on a spirited chase and were maintaining a steady run rate to achieve the target we had set but fell short of batsmen in the 17th over.

Player of the match went to Caty Salter for her 14 Retired Not Out and her Wicket Keeping.
