Yateley Cricket Club Lost but played in a good spirit

Match report Our ‘littlies’ stepped up to face the giants of Eversley with confidence in this friendly match. Lots of bowling and batting opportunities to build experience with everyone bowling a much tighter line in their second over. Lauren bowled a super maiden over…a notable feat in an U10s match with some super 4s from new recruit Philippa too to get everyone cheering.
There was a flurry of wickets with some run outs BUT we all agreed it was much better to have a go and run than stand and watch. The girls decided we needed to practise being quicker to the ball in the field and calling for runs so we have a training plan…looking forward to our next match!
