Match report On a beautiful sunny evening in Cove, Safa won the toss and chose to field. a run out on the first ball of the game set the tone and Yateley bowled well and fielded even better with 4 run outs and some excellent stops. Accurate bowling and wickets tumbled, 10 in total. Cove's total was 223.
after a drink, biscuit and a team outing to the toilet, Yateley returned to the field determined to score the necessary runs and win the game. Jess and Aryana made a solid start to leave us 210 after 4. Niamh and Libby then took the score to 230 at the half way point. Hannah and Aryana then pressed home the advantage with some lovely cricket to take us to 250 after 12 overs. Safa and Millie the came in to see us home with some big hitting including 5 boundaries in one over from Safa that got the crowd cheering. An excellent final total of 279 for 3 and a well deserved win that is long over due.
