Match report Yateley lost the toss and were asked to bat on a green track at Woodcote. Misfortune cost the first two wickets , "LBW" and a strange run out. The "Humes" then stabilised things with Cameron pulling the ball whenever short. A flurry of wickets then Day and Brown put on 45 before falling in short order. The skipper marshalled the tail to put on another 57 runs leaving a defendable target and plenty of overs to push for the win.
New boy Reece Wilson broke through having the openers out, one playing on and the other nicking to the keeper for early breakthroughs. Wes Day then used the slow ball cleverly to clean out the middle order. Then with Connor McGregor bowling tight lines to induce a false shot from Clark who was showing the main resistance in the opposition to edge one to the keeper. Connor then ran through the tail in short order to deservedly get a 5-for haul and an early visit to the local hostelry to discuss the finer points of the match at leisure!
