Yateley Cricket Club Lost to a very good Cove team

Match report Yateley won the toss and chose to field on a glorious sunny morning. Yateley produced one of their best bowling displays of the season, however this made it easier for the strong Cove team to hit boundaries. The pick of the Yateley bowlers was Anna who brilliantly bowled Cove's top run scorer and ended up with 1 for 17. Cove produced some powerful hitting including 3 sixes to finish on 353, despite some excellent fielding at times from Yateley. Yateley set about the huge run chase with smiles on their faces, Jessica and Hannah making 13 off the first 4 overs with captain for the day Hannah top scoring with 9. Cove bowled well and Yateley struggled to make runs and ended with a total of 224 off the 16 overs. Tremendous team spirit and a game of cricket played between the 2 teams.
