Match report Yateley put in another impressive performance but failed to get the last wicket that would have given them a well-deserved victory against inform Boyne Hill on Saturday. Skipper Stuart Lipo won the toss and had no hesitation in batting. Yateley made a solid but slow start with Jimmy Halson36 and Jason Soames 23 adding 60 for the first wicket. Jon Dow 22 and Dan Vincent held things together. An enterprising 23 from Jacques Pienaar started Yateley on pushing things along. 200 looked a good score as Yateley were 155 for of 44 overs however Jon Sebanja65no and Sam Kennett 30no had other ideas and they smashed the ball to all parts of the ground as Yateley scored a creditable 247 for 5. M Firth bowled 19 overs 4-83 for Boyne Hill.

Boyne sowed their intent to win the game scoring 17 from the 1st over off Anthony Muir however Muir responded immediately removing the dangerous Mohamed for 19 in his next over. The introduction of skipper Lipo saw the end of the prolific Clayson and the hosts were 69 for 2.Irfan 55, Riaz34 and Masih 39 say Boyne Hill to 209 for 4 before the re-introduction of Muir say a dramatic change as he removed Masih, Firth and Mellor. He also was instrumental in the run out of Bartlett and Boyne Hill were tottering on 227 for 9. However the last pair held out at 231 for 9 for a draw.

This win saw Yateley move out of the bottom above Kew who they face next weekend in proverbial 6 pointer.
