Yateley Cricket Club Won by 53 Runs

Match report Rowledge won the toss and asked Yateley to bat first.

Josie and Rosalyn opened the batting and took advantage of some early wayward bowling. All the girls batted positively and after our twenty overs, Yateley were 126 - 1 with solid contributions from all.

The girls then took to the field, full of enthusiasm looking to again defend the total they had worked hard to achieve. Rowledge made a positive start and were scoring at will until Sasha broke the opening partnership in the 4th over.

The wickets then started to fall at regular intervals as the girls put on a fielding masterclass. Incredible catches in the field by Megan Stentiford, Shannon Clark and Nayani Davies Patel as well as Josie Marshall's amazing run out had Parents and Coaches cheering from the sidelines.

Rowledge were all out for 73 after 13.5 overs giving yateley a win by 53 runs.

Man of the Match this week goes to Shannon Clark for her batting contribution of 1 not out, her Bowling figures of 2 wickets for 6 runs (including a double wicket maiden), and her incredible catch at point.
