Match report After a damp morning the sun broke through and a beautiful (but windy) afternoon beckoned. Following a brisk warm up led by Catherine and Molly the Ladies were ready to take on Petersfield. Having lost the toss ( first time this season) Petersfield elected to bat so Yateley took to the field. Everyone decided to share round the wickets today and very quickly inroads were made into Petersfield's 8 woman line up. Fielding was superb with alert fielders responding quickly to their captain, chasing down everything they could and showcasing excellent stops in the field. Great backing up, support for each other and lots of positive chat.
With only 52 runs on the board Petersfield needed to bowl tightly but within 13 overs the total was met. Alanna and the young ones got us home with excellent running, calling and good shot selection.

Thanks to Steph Jones for a delicious tea and thanks Ladies for setting up/ packing away. Well done Caty Salter playing in your first Ladies match.
