Match report This week saw the Ladies play the new to the Hants League team Andover at their beautiful ground. Emma and Michelle's partnership at a crucial time in our innings built a solid platform and we finished on 157. Andover got off to a flying start with their young batwomen hitting strongly. 2 quick, early wickets started to turn the tide with consistent bowling bringing its rewards as wickets started to fall. Catches were taken (eventually!) and Andover were all out in 22 overs. Sure de Beer on debut for the Ladies took 5 wickets including a hat trick, while other wickets were shared around the bowlers.
An exciting game played in good spirit!
