Match report Yateley Ladies played Ropley Ladies in a low scoring game. Ropley won the toss and decided to bat first. In what must be a first for the ladies we used nine bowlers in the match. Jemma and Catherine bowled for the first time in a ladies match and did brillantly with Jemma taking two wickets and Catherine one. Siobhan continued her good bowling and took two wickets.

Catherine's fielding was impressive and she saved us a number of runs. We managed to restrict Ropley to 68 runs off 32 overs.

Emma Wilson and Fiona good us off to a good start, with Debbie and Emma finishing the game in 13 overs with the loss of only one wicket. Emma W batting beautifully scoring 27 no, Debbie 15 no and Fiona 14.

As captain I'm really happy with the team effort, especially how the bowling has progressed over the season.
