Match report The toss lost, steady early progress with the ball turned into a long day in the field as injuries took their toll on the mobility of the fielders despite a typically energetic display from Angad. A tight last 10 overs from Angad and Robin really slowed them up and Robin finished with very respectable figures.

The chase did not get off to a good start. Early wickets tumbled and stand in skipper Mike's unbeaten record looked in jeopardy. Angad and Chandu steadied the ship then another good partnership between Sid and Robin looked to be bringing the team home for a draw but an excellent catch from one of the Datchett players dismissed Sid and the injured Skip complete with runner had to see the job done himself.
