Match report ...And then there were three, Reading, Eversley, Finchampstead & Cove eliminated in one fell swoop, just Windsor & Wokingham to watch out for.

The 3rd's proved yet again why they shouldn't be in Division 8, with a little help from our South African Strawberry!!!

The early dismissal of Paul Nichols with the score on 23, brought together Pebble (93*) & Tom Nichols (21) who took Yateley past 50 in 10 overs, before Tom was controversially given out L.B.W or was that caught behind?!!? erm.. anyway moving on, this brought in Strawberry Burger (110*) who with Peeble took Yateley to 256 for 2 off 40 overs, an impressive 200 partnership. Controversially brought to an early end by the dastardly skipper who decided to declare with Peeble 93 N.O. (I know rotten eggs and all..)

Reading (a.k.a "the Kamikaze Eleven") then committed Hari-Kari and were bowled out for 60 when faced with the Magnificent "Old Ball" Four (Haig,Upkar,Harry & Liam). Haig (3-29), Upkar (3-8), The Mighty Squeak (3-21).

With Wokingham due to meet Windsor in the penultimate game, a good win next week against the arch-enemy, erm.. I mean Eversley (Did I say that out loud?!)
could all but assure Yateley of promotion.

M.O.M difficult one this, erm Strawberry for his 110* ?, Peeble for his 93* ?, the Mighty Squeak (I want to bowl, erm oh you're going to bowl me, err No,No I don't bowl!!) for his 3-21 (Should have been 4, shsh!!)? but ultimately I think It has to be the Mighty Squeak for Chirping Strawberry!!
