Match report Lost Toss Again!!!! put into bat by opposition (Bonus!)

Rock & Pebble erected their usual dam, before it was finally breached on 78 when pebble chased a wide one. Solid performances from the batting order ensued despite a sticky period when the opposition decided to throw hand grenades over the trenches!! Good Contributions (G Soames 95*, J Soames 32, L Cresswell 27, U Shishodia 17, A Doorbar 14) saw Yateley through to 228 for 7 off their 47 overs.
After a lovely tea provided by Mrs Soames, Yateley set about Wokingham and Upkar & Liam quickly reduced the opposition to a quivering wreck (Upkar 4, Liam 1 & Jason Soames a good run out), sensing our Births in the 4th's looming Izzy & myself decided to bring ourselves on to clean up the tail with each of us taking 2 wickets.

M.O.M G Soames, who narrowly pipped Upkar (The Jug of Beer might have swayed the vote!!!!!)
