Match was Drawn Yateley 156-9 v Finch 93-9

Match report After a fantastic team effort to get the pitch playable, play finally got under way @ 2:45. Finchampstead won the toss and put Yateley into bat, and despite numerous efforts by J Garrett(16) & D Macgregor(12) the opening bowlers failed to find the edge. Good contributions got Yateley to 156 off their 36 overs, G Boughton (29) & U Shishodia (39) were the main contributions.
Tea was taken (& Special thanks to Katherine Mitchell who stepped in at the last minute to provide another fantastic tea), and a refreshed Yateley took to the field. Early wickets from L Doran & U Shishodia quickly put Yateley on the front foot, wickets then fell at regularly intervals and at 53 for 7 off 22 overs a win looked on the cards. Unfortunately despite Sam Sugars best efforts (beating the bat on several occasions and inducing a couple of edges behind and a dollied up catch in front of the wicket, Yateley failed to finish off the opposition, with Finchampstead surviving on 93 for 9 off their 34 overs.
Despite the failure to get over the line, a good performance by the 3rd's with L Doran 3-8 & I Akhtar 4-30 the pick of a good bowling performance.
