Match report On a hot humid day and not know whether to bowl or bat, Wokingham won the toss....with their skipper also in the same undecided position. Wokingham chose to bat first and at 42 for 4, Wokingham looked in trouble but as the ball got older and the pitch playing well, Wokingham fought back with a few good partnership but true to Yateley spirit, we fought back and the spin pair of Kumar and Kennett restricted Wokingham to 202 all out, with Kennett taking 4 wickets, Covers 3 and Kumar 2. Yateley took to the fielding in positive fashion in looking to chase down Wokingham's total, knowing that the outfield was very quick and a solid start from J.Muir and Howells of 45 set us on our way but once again, we lost wickets in bunches but never stopped fighting for the win and fell agonisingly short of our total, largely thanks to J.Muir with 58. Great game and spirit, very proud of our sportsmanship and team effort.
