Match report Henley moved smoothly to 40 for 1 but Miles Covers joined the attack and
removed Will Macdonald and Ziafat Ashraf in a thoroughly hostile
spell. Calm was restored when Cameron Jacobson joined Richard Underdown in a 50
partnership but when the opener was sent back by Ants two more wickets fell at the same score leaving the Henley innings in dire straights at 93 for 6. Jacobson fought hard to stage a recovery but Sam chipped in with two wickets
including Jacobson for a fighting fifty and a final rapid burst from Miles
saw Henley all out for 148 in 44 overs. Bowling honours went to Miles (4 for 22), Ants (3 for 44) and Sam (2 for 13).

We suffered the early loss of John Howells lbw but with the run rate not an issue James Muir and Ryan Bone watchfully played themselves in but it proved to be the calm before the storm as Boney started to despatch anything loose. James Muir wisely played second fiddle rotating the strike and when he fell with the score on 58, Mannu played the same role as Ryan cut loose. Having reached his fifty in fifty balls, he proceeded to take Henley apart racing to his second fifty in just 31 balls and when he fittingly finished the match with the seventh six of his innings Boney had scored 120 out of his team's total of 152 for 2 in an innings of just 91 balls which also included 14 fours. We now sit in fifth place but just 16 points behind league leaders Marlow who visit
Chandlers Lane next Saturday
