Match report The U17's over ran Dogsmerfield in their first league fixture of the season. Asked to bat first Dow & James put raced to 100 in 10 overs before both retired. Clubb and Harris continued the strike rate, before both fell, leaving the U17's on 197. Given the variable nature of the pitch at Dogsmerfield, this was a good total which was always going to be far too much for the Dogsmerfield team to reach.

The changed new ball partnership of Tucker and Pienaar quickly showed their strength, taking two wickets and only conceding 7 runs in the first four overs, before some good bowling from the Kennet and Dodd took more wickets. Star bowler of the day was Bosch, bowling his first league over for a couple of years, took 4 wickets in one over for three runs, including a hat trick!
