An early run out by a quick-thinking Sue followed by velcro-handed catches off Emma, Rachel and
Alanna’ s bowling with Laura reprising her side net catch, shared the wickets round. Even Oakley’s number 3 began to fall silent…

101 the total to reach…Emma V and Alanna set a cracking pace as the Oakley ladies felt the pressure. Great support from Emma C and Sue ensured the total was reached with overs to spare and the Yorkers celebrated with restraint, maturity and jolly firm handshakes all round.
