Having already beaten Finch this season we knew what sort of team they were. For the second game in a row we had no wicket keeper so Alice and AJ had to do 10 over’s each. We opened the bowling with AJ and Cassie who kept Finch to only 28 runs off of 8 over’s, both girls took wickets with AJ taking her first wicket this season and Cassie nearly getting a Hat-Trick. Alice and Kayleigh also bowled well and were rewarded with a wicket each. Emma R, Rachel, Emma R and Alice C also bowled well and did a great job in the field stopping the boundary’s and singles. This was a great performance in the field by all the girls and Finch finished on 77-5.

After a very quick break we went out to bat we opened the batting with Alice and AJ who got off to a slow start. AJ was out first as she played across the line to a straight ball for the second game running. The next batsmen in was Rachel who did a great job and got her highest score of 17 before getting out, Alice also got out for 29 which was her highest score of the season as well. The next two batsmen in were Emma R and Kayleigh who took the single and hit the bad balls. Unfortunately Kayleigh got out and the new batsmen in was Cassie who hit the first ball she faced away meaning that Yateley U16 girls had won two games in a row.

Well done to all the girls who played this was a great performance.
