Match report Well, a change in captain, but no change in team spirit & quality of performance, so well done Miles. A fantastic 32 not out, with very positive batting and support to the younger players you batted & fielded. I was pleased to see you step in to the role of captain in Connor's absence and fill his shoes very well. Your bating performance set the tone for our most impressive total - 150 runs, with almost 100 from the bat! Who would have believed that after some matches when we barely made 30 with the bat earlier in the season.

Callum also batted very well, with a superb 20 (a great celebration just days after your 9th birthday - a future & present star for Yateley Cricket Club)

A great debut from Ollie Haynes with the bat too & some powerful bowling too.

Alex bowled the most impressive spin I have seen this season (of any Under 11 team - well done).

Andre, your wicket keeping skills have developed throughout the season too, so you are keeping up with our bowling and fielding, if not setting the pace, so well done. Also Andre has really come of age with the bat this season too, deserving the top 3 slot in each innings - fantastic to see.

David & Matthew, it was great to be able to give you boys 2 overs in a match where our batting performance created the opportunity to share the overs more. Really well done to you guys, some excellent fielding from you both too, so lets keep practicing & Matthew you finished off Rowledge in your over.

Max, Michael W, Nick & Oliver - very solid bowling again from you guys - you have been the backbone of our solid performance through the season, with Connor & James C (Callum already mentioned).
