LocalGiving have confirmed there were problems with their website Tuesday morning, which they say were fixed by lunchtime.
This is just to let you know that if you were one of those who could not make a donation there is still matching money available in the pot, despite me thinking it would run out quickly.

Thanks to those who have donated £10 today, and had it matched by Just Giving.
There have been a number of people who failed to get a match to their £10 donation with a message saying "someone had already donated £10 and this donation will not be matched for YCC". I don't understand this and I have asked for an explanation. Maybe it was an overload on the website.
I am pleased to say the matching funding is not yet closed (probably because of the problems) because I have just successfully donated a £10, which was matched.

Starting at 10.00 am on Tuesday 25 September (until £500k has been given away) LocalGiving (https://localgiving.com/charity/ycc) will double any £10 donation to £20.
YCC is registered with LocalGiving as a charity, which means Gift Aid (25% added) ia automatically claimed on any donations made to YCC via the site. Anyone can donate to YCC at anytime.
This latest "Grow Your Tenner" campaign is to encourage more small donations. If you can spare £10 please click through to the site (https://localgiving.com/charity/ycc) and donate £10, which will be doubled by LocalGiving. You may need to regsiter as YCC member if you are not already.
Register today and be ready to make your £10 donations on 10.00 am on Tuesday. Even though there is £500k in the pot, it goes very quickly, probably within 1 hour! Set your reminder for 9.55 so you can log on in time.
