remembers Clifford Joseph Comer, ex-Yateley player, passed away on Thursday 9th August, aged 80.

We fondly remember him as a wily, spin bowler, who was always the man to break those
stubborn batting partnerships. He probably won more than one award"

Cliff lived in Yateley for many years and some of his happiest times were playing cricket on the green and played for Yateley from the mid 1970s right up to when he left Yateley around 1995. He played cricket right up to his seventies and never lost his love of the game.

His funeral is being handled By Alexander  Burn of 22, Church Road, Bishop Cleeve, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL52 8LR    Tel 01242 673300.
