Rhodes Franklin selected for Hampshire U12 summer squad

Just another bit of good news. I’m delighted to let you know that Rhodes
Franklin has been selected for the Hampshire U12 summer squad. I’m sure that
Rhodes won’t mind me letting you know that he has previously had some real
disappointment a year ago when being turned down by Surrey. So I would pay him
the utmost credit for putting that behind him and working so hard to gain this
thoroughly deserved recognition. I’m sure we all wish Rhodes a great season
(and, having made the same switch myself, I think I might just go and watch the
match against Surrey myself!)
