Yateley CC continue to thrive even in the winter

We are playing indoor cricket at both Dummer and Eversley and through the colts and adults over 80 people have represented the club so far.

Well done to all and thanks to the team managers who continue to put in a lot of effort

Dummer
  • The Mavericks have struggled with availabilities and injuries but are now on the up and currently lie 3rd in the Premier League.
  • The Cavaliers lost their first game but 4 successive wins sees them at the top of the table (div 3). This is a side with mainly U15 &a6’s and an aging veteran !!!(Last night some said to me you know for someone your age you do really well in the field… I didn’t know whether to smile or thump him).
  • The Wanderers made a difficult start but a win last week has seen them progress to mid table. Note boys Chris Roper scored 27no last week to show the rest how to bat!!!!!!!!!
  • Our all conquering U15’s currently sit at the top of the A and B leagues. So let’s hope we continue this form through the entire season
  • The U13’s A & B have each won and lost a game.
  • The U11’s A side have won 3 out of 3 and are top of the league. We have entered a B side and a girls side also in the league.
  • The U11 Girls have won the only game they have played.
Eversley
  • the adults currently lie 2nd in the league with James Muir scoring runs, but also Ants and Harry B (if only they could do that next summer!!!). Asif and Chris Roper are showing the youngsters how to bowl.
  • In the U15’s we have an U15’s team containing a lot of boys who haven’t played indoor before and they are 2nd in their league.
  • Also Emma has entered an U15s girls side which is getting good experience against some strong teams.
