Cove Tournament

Well played to all the teams who were entered for the Cove Tournament yesterday. Somehow, in the bitter cold, we managed to win three of the four competitions.

* Well played to the Girls teams - the U11 and U13s both of whom won their competitions in spite of not being allowed to wear their hoodies in the cold!!
* Well played the U11s who won their competition, tieing the final on runs but winning on the basis of less wickets lost - ie none!. (any finger nails left?)
* And a heart-felt "Well played to the two U9 teams - we couldn't be more pleased with them. The 'B' team played some great cricket in their division and narrowly lost to some strong teams. The 'A' team played really well to win four out of four to win their division but lost in the Semi-final. Well played to everyone especially a good number of lads who were playing their first real games of cricket
