U17 beat OT & Romsey to reach the County Cup Final
The U17's have qualified for the U17 County Cup for second time in a row. This is the second year that the cup has been run by Hampshire and we are the current holders of the trophy, called the Kerry Cup.
The semi-final was at home against OTs & Romsey, which saw a comfortable Yateley win with a strong team. Some good batting performances from James Halson, Jack Wood, Chris Clubb and Charlie Harris was followed by some excellent bowling from all five bowlers, Jacques Pienaar taking three wickets. An excellent all round performance.
The final will be played at the Nursery Ground at the Rosebowl on the 15th August, match starting at 1.00 pm. The oppostion will be Portsmouth and Southsea CC.
