Friday Night BBQ
         
          Quick guide to timings
  • Oven on 100-150oC.  To keep food warm once cooked.
  • Defrost sausages if necessary.  Burgers are cooked from frozen.
  • Slice onions and fry, once done put into small rectangle tin, cover with foil and place in oven.
  • Start cooking the first batch of burgers and sausages on the BBQ, 0nce cooked put into trays, cover with foil and place in the oven.

           Where to find the food   

  • Beef burgers are in the drawers of the kitchen freezer, cook from frozen.
  • Sausages are in the fridge, if not check freezer.
  • Fresh baps and hot dog rolls are in the kitchen.  Any fresh ones not used should go into the freezer at the end of the evening.
  • Plenty of sauces in the fridge.
  • Cheese slices in the fridge.
  • Napkins in the cupboard beside the sink.

           How many to cook  

  • 60-70 beef burgers - if all the teams present (adjust accordingly)
  • 30-36 sausages (whatever's in the kitchen)
  • 1-2 bags onions (whatever's in the kitchen)
  • Suggest cook 50 initially then see uptake from U9's and then cook more if gone well.
  • Always cook all the sausages.
