Yateley Cricket Club Lost by 115 runs

Match report Won the toss and decided to chase - wasn't 100% sure I had the depth in bowling to defend a total.
And if I'm brutally honest, Joel and Ryan apart, it did more or less turn out that way as Sonning's top order looked quite strong as they posted 227 - possibly 30-40 more than we would have hoped.
However at HT, I still believed we had a chance, especially if we could get off to a flier and exert some pressure - and we pretty much did that with John, Jim and Simon giving us a firm base to work from. And at 80-2, it was still on .......until we subsided!
Losing Jim and Simon when they were in full flow interrupted our momentum and we never recovered.
