Yateley Cricket Club Won Great match played in a good spirit!

Match report A scorcher of an afternoon, a delicious tea provided by all the ladies and best of all a friendly v Eversley. A rush of enthusiasm led to YCC having 12 players eager to play so Rachel defected to the oppo for the afternoon. Yateley batswomen decided today was the day to "see ball hit ball" and soon had Eversley on the back foot trying to stem the flow of runs. Some excellent stops in the field from Eversley's young team but a mighty score of 264 loomed large. Refreshed by tea, Yateley galloped on to the field where they proceeded to bowl tightly and field superbly. A lively and energetic team created a fantastic atmosphere on field (despite some uncharacteristic sledging of Eversley's no 6 batswoman) with wickets shared around the team. 3 each for Debbie and Megan in her first Ladies match. Great game Ladies!
