Match report The firsts rather fumbled their chance to go further ahead at the top of Division 3A by dropping both of Royal Ascot’s top scorers when each were below 30. In spite of the efforts of Miles Covers (5-59), Gerhard Pienaar (3 for 38) and Harry Bartlett (2 for 53), Royal Ascot took full advantage with excellent stroke play to post 273 all out in 47 overs

Stuart Lipo (22) did a fine job and make-shift opener and at 54 for 1 off 13 overs, Yateley seemed to have a good foundation but then lost regular wickets and only Ryan Bone (34) and an excellent 61no by Charlie Harris allowed Yateley to get out with a draw even though they still managed to lose 3 wickets in the last two overs to end up on 198 for 9.
